Family & Parental
At the heart of everything is your children’s emotional wellbeing. Separation can feel unsettling and confusing for them, and they often don’t have the words to explain how they’re feeling. We offer thoughtful, age-appropriate support that helps children feel heard, safe, and reassured, while giving parents guidance on how to respond with calm, consistency, and care during a time of change.
Our family mediation guidance is designed to reduce conflict and keep conversations focused on what truly matters. Where appropriate, we can offer child-inclusive mediation (CIM) recommendations, ensuring children’s voices are considered in a sensitive and ethical way. This helps parents make informed decisions that reflect their children’s needs, without placing pressure or responsibility on them.
We also support parents in creating practical, workable co-parenting plans and agreements that fit real life. From managing daily routines and handovers to agreeing boundaries and expectations, we help you build structures that reduce tension and increase stability. Alongside this, we can recommend family therapy or conflict coaching to support healthier communication and clearer decision-making when emotions run high.
To help families move forward with confidence, we offer workshops focused on organisation, communication, and boundaries - skills that make day-to-day parenting smoother and more predictable. We also provide schooling advice and guidance, helping parents navigate educational decisions, communication with schools, and maintaining continuity for children during and after separation.
Chapter Two is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice and this remains the remit of your matrimonial solicitor.
